Had a solar and battery system installed to our home recently and ACC were excellent throughout. Initially contacted a few companies and Kev was the only person whose first step was to actually come out and have a proper look at the house and suggest what's possible which was a huge plus. Then the actual quote we were given was really reasonable too. They handled everything with the paperwork and admin, and had a pretty quick turnaround to being able to get it installed. On the day the whole crew were great. Really polite and friendly and they got the job done nice and smoothly; and they had a good variety of coffee and tea requests (when offered) to keep us on our toes ("strongly brewed, very milky, with 2 and a bit sugars" was a highlight). Already seeing the generation going well, just waiting for the export MPAN to come through (again, helpfully sorted via ACC) to start being able to sell back the excess we're generating.

I was strongly recommended Acc Renewable Energy by a close friend following a general conversation about solar power, I did contact the 5 big companies who only offered their highly inflated systems and didn’t really care what I needed. I contacted Kevin from Acc who was a breath of fresh air and listened rather than babbling on, Kevin accommodated my work schedule and visited my home outside normal working hours complete with drone, we had a conversation about My needs and agreed to quote on 22 panels and a 40kw battery. I decided to maximise the scaffolding and refurbish the front of my home at the same time. The coordinating took months but Acc were fantastic in their attitude and time delay to accommodate all the other teams, “D”day arrived and Acc turned up with an Army of labour to accommodate the 1 day installation, you couldn’t have asked for a better team of workers, coordinated, polite, professional and friendly, everyone knew what to do,the installation went perfectly, with only 1 trivial preference that was rectified before any of the team left site. Kevin and his lieutenant John went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with their work, they really were fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone considering solar to at least have a conversation with Kevin before they make any commitment elsewhere.

Kev was always quick to respond, kept us updated regularly, and even called personally to check the scaffolding delivery had been arranged around when we were available. The installation itself was incredibly efficient; the full solar and battery system was installed, commissioned and running in less than a day, which really impressed us. The quality of workmanship looks excellent both internally and externally. Cabling is very tidy, the battery installation looks clean and professional, and all certification and handover documentation was provided promptly afterwards.
