Spoke to David,he was so helpful and managed to talk me through what I had done while trying to get the boiler to fire up. I had got the valves wrong!! A quick run of the hot water and the boiler fire up and my house is heating up nicely. Thank you so much Energy Pig. Cheers, Brian
Very good service if you need it done in the next 6 to 7 months. We had them put insulation in the loft up in October. We were also invoiced for some extraction fans. Miscommunication between the electricians and them led to the fans being mounted on the roof instead of the outside wall. From there it took us 5 months from November to April to get these damn fans hooked to an attic vent. Had to call them every week (apart from Christmas and New Years time). Strongly avoid them.
STAY CLEAR!! I was advised that we would have the 1st year service carried out for free as they installed the Air source Heat Pump. However, I received a call asking for £250 payment so they can carry out the the service. First of all I was shocked at the price but proceeded to explain that I have the first one free. They told me NO and that I had to pay for it. I was told that if I didn't pay for it then my 7 year warranty will be void! I explained that I will need to shop around as I didn't know what others charged (others are much cheaper). She phoned me back a few times over the next couple of weeks as they were eager for the business. She explained that if I take our their servicing then they will fix any issues free of charge, however I now don't trust their word given that they initially told me that the first service was free. I suspect they are talking about the manufacturer coming out under the under if anything went wrong. I emailed Nicola multiple times now asking why they were not honoring the first free service but I've had. Zero response. They are quick enough to call us when there is a sale in it for them but anything other than that, they ignore their emails! Stay clear!
I arranged for Energy Pig to carry out a heating installation for my elderly mother and have had nothing but issues. The system didn't work correctly from day one and despite telling them something wasn't right I got told she just needed to get used to it. They finally came out and it turned out it was wired up incorrectly as wasn't properly commissioned. There were numerous issues with the way things were left and most have now been sorted but only because I have had to escalate it with them. I have contacted them several times but they still haven't sorted the shocking wiring and trunking in the front hall and the plaster they damaged. If I hadn't been able to chase them, my mothers house would have been left in a mess which is not acceptable and now she has to pay out of her own pocket to get the mess rectified as Energy Pig obviously are not interested in the quality of their workmanship.
Would Not Recommend. Recently came up to Isle if Lewis to do our house and they have didnt put covers over any of the furniture, fitted a new extractor in the kitchen drilled through the roof truss. The insulated plasterboard they put up, the fastenings haven't been put in properly such as screws in squint also screw heads sticking out, hope the plasterers are good at plastering they will need to put on a heavy skim. Also we were asked to find our own plasterers because they couldn't say for sure when the plastering would be done. I could go on but it would be a long list. Just adding that they are a bunch of cowboys, someone else in our village got stuff done by this mob and they have had same problems shoddy workmanship. Feel sorry for the 1 or 2 tradesmen that we have spoke to that work for them I.e. the plasterer and the solar panel chap were great but everything else is shocking.
Worst decision we ever made nothing but promises still waiting on the job to be finished work started just after Xmas and still waiting . Finishing work by some workers poor with the exception of the joiner who's work can't be faulted. My advice save your sanity and shop around I only wish i had read the reviews first . 15/6/24 still waiting on the plaster to come and finish this job please look around before you pick this company you won't be sorry.
Brian & Steven were installing cavity wall insulation at my property this week. I was really impressed by their efficiency & customer service. They arrived on time & got straight to work. They also made an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards. They were professional whilst being friendly & helpful. I will recommend to friends & family. Thanks again guys.👍✅💯.
