EVLM Renewables

EVLM Renewables is based in Southampton and provides renewable energy services across Hampshire and nationwide. The company is family-owned and has over 30 years of experience in the electrical industry. It is a certified installer for leading brands and offers solar panel installations, battery storage, and EV chargers. EVLM Renewables works with Tesla Powerwall home battery. It handles DNO applications for installations and provides certification for installations.

Households seeking to add battery storage alongside existing solar arrays, or to combine panels, batteries and an electric vehicle charger in one project, feature prominently among the work described. GivEnergy batteries and inverters appear most often, sometimes paired with an air source heat pump so the different systems operate together. Lloyd and George are named repeatedly by customers, who highlight their knowledge and friendly manner, the time taken to understand requirements, and the way options were explained before any quote was given.

Reviewers describe pricing as competitive, and one notes a quote lower than others received. Punctuality comes up regularly, as does the neatness of finished installations, with cabling carefully routed out of sight. A theme running through the feedback is the skill shown on difficult jobs, including one where sixteen panels were fitted to a clay tile roof of handmade construction, with scaffolding, planning and the DNO application all organised from start to finish, and a G99 certificate obtained afterwards.

The equipment itself draws praise, particularly the support available once the work is complete, with questions answered after installation. Projects have involved east and west facing roofs, larger arrays of twenty-five panels feeding twin 9.5 kWh batteries, and setups designed to future-proof homes already using solar and heat pumps, with owners reporting immediate savings.
