HPSI

HPSI Ltd is a family-run renewables installer based in Glasgow, founded in 2010. The company began in a small office in Glasgow and has been installing renewables since 2010. It is an MCS accredited and fully insured installer with fully qualified engineers. HPSI installs renewable energy systems for homeowners in Newcastle, Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen, Stirling, Oban and surrounding areas. It has installed systems for both domestic and commercial customers across Scotland, with teams completing installs in Stornoway, Dumfries, Campbeltown and nearly every town in between.

Services include heat pumps, solar panels, battery storage and a maintenance plan. HPSI completes a full system design to create the ideal setup for the home, ensuring the system meets 100% of the energy needs for heating and hot water. The company supports funding applications through either the Boiler Upgrade Scheme or Home Energy Scotland. It provides 2-year independent warranties on all installs and deposit protection insurance guarantee.

Households upgrading to heat pumps alongside solar panels and battery storage form the core of the work described by customers of this Glasgow-based energy advisory and green energy supplier. The technical knowledge of Jay is highlighted time and again, with reviewers noting that he is usually the first point of contact, taking time during a site visit to explain the options and set out a tailored plan before any commitment is made. Luke appears in accounts of annual servicing and installation, described as punctual, quick and efficient, and ready to answer questions about how the system operates.

Customers describe installations that went smoothly, with skilled teams working long days to finish the job, and personal communication from a small company is a recurring theme, including one client who appreciated Jay taking on a project management role. Aftercare also draws praise: when minor problems followed an installation, the team came back and sorted them without any fuss. The outcomes reported include a warm, comfortable and more energy-efficient home, inexpensive hot water, and systems that needed some adjustment before running well.
