4.5 / 5 · 43 totalHad my install with Logan Installations in October 2025. Jonny gave a similar quote to everyone else and was very knowledgable. Job was supposed to start on the Wednesday but due to delays in another job, it started Thursday. It was supposed to be a 2 day job but due to weather and other commitments it got finished a week later. Everything seemed good until I had to chase paperwork. He delayed over 3 weeks. During this time he didn't pay his membership to NICEIC which resulted in his MCS being discontinued too. Jonny messaged now and then and tried to deflect. If the paperwork was done when the job was done then it wouldn't have been an issue. I was told from him he was waiting on a course to get his MCS again and would have it sorted by the start of 2026. His number no longer works and not replying to emails. I have since spoke to MCS and I have been told that I can get another company to check over the system and approve an MCS certification for the work. Having spoke to a few companies who have looked at the work there is now thousands of pounds worth of worth to get it up to standard. He has overloaded electrical consumer box. No surge protection. Backup system is potentially dangerous to people working on power cuts in the area and not bothered to Earth it correctly. This is from 2 seperate companies. Please avoid if you can! He has now started up another company called Glasgow Solar Panels stating he is RECC, NICEIC and MCS accredited which he is not.
As many have said, great up until the walked off site and stated job was complete. SE attended to review work and found a substantial leak from one of the panels and wiring not properly routed through loft. The leak has now damaged a support bean and plasterboard of a bedroom . reported to MCS to remove accreditation and seek costs to repair the damage and install correctly.
We had 12 solar panels installed onto the garage roof in 2021by Jonny McKillop and his guys at Logan Installations. From start to finish they were very professional and courteous and so tidy. Very reasonably priced. We were so pleased with the service that when we converted our garage this year, we contacted Jonny again to add a further 10 panels onto our house roof, connect them up to our garage panels and also install a 10kw SolarEdge battery. It all connects to an app on our mobiles so we can see the import and export as it happens. Again we couldn’t fault the service we received. We highly recommend Jonny at Logan Installations.
Had 13 solar panels and battery fitted.Very professional and experienced fitters .Very knowledgeable. Thank you for great job.
We highly recommend Jonny and the team from Logan Installations. They are responsive, skilled and helpful. Jonny is very knowledgeable and experienced and patiently answered the many questions we had given this was the first time we have had solar installed and he made the whole experience pain free for us. He's good to work with and sent all the paperwork required promptly post installation. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Logan Installations to anyone considering having solar installed at their property.
Great company to deal with, their communication is excellent, always keeping you informed from DNO applications through to commissioning. The installation team were pleasant and hard working on our installation and when we encountered a fault on our system months on (through no fault of theirs), Jonny offered to come out and fix it as soon as he could. Couldn't ask for better than that.
Brilliant from start to finish, kept in touch throughout the full process including help with applications for Home Energy. Trust Scotland and G99, during installation all steps were explained and even during extremely hot weather all installers done very well. GivEnergy system installed and top class, developed a fault with my inverter after 6 weeks and it was no issue for Jonny and his team to came out and got my system back up and running with no fault with the installation. Great communication and would highly recommend Thanks a lot to Jonny and his team
