Chris is a genuine expert in his field and a highly competent and reliable local provider. He installed 18 panels, plus a battery and heatpump set up for us - the install has gone without a hitch and we're now on track for a zero bills home set up. The real differentiator has been Chris' involvement - he's been really helpful with education, soothing doubts and concerns etc. Overall and compared with other quotes, he was broadly comparable but we have a top notch system that has been properly installed. We found our dream house and wanted to get everything done right, including replacing the 20 year old boiler with a heat pump system, along with batteries and solar panels. Yes admittedly we want to take advantage of the £7500 subsidy the government is giving away as well. With a background in chemical engineering, I scheduled 4 interviews with 4 vendors who all claimed they know what they are doing. One of them is Renergie. Chris demonstrated excellent knowledge of the entire system, down to showing me calculations he did on top of his head. I checked and things did add up. Two others were amateurs so I counted them out. Renergie came in a tiny bit higher in terms of costs, but it’s all worth it, from constant communications with Chris while the project was going on, to seeing Chris actually bending pipes and having a good time installing it. I can see that Chris really cares. The job was finished on time, on budget, and 7 months later it’s still running smoothly. Chris even helped to apply and I’m now making money selling excess energy back to the grid. Would highly recommend.

I am writing this review 6 months after the a heat pump system installation was completed at my place - and it has delivered exactly what was promised. I was looking for someone that would give me confidence for a heatpump installation with a mix of existing radiators and new underfloor heating, + DHW - all done alongside/coordinated with a ground floor extension. I spoke with 6 companies (large and small) for heatpump offers, and decided to go with Renergie because Chris came across as both knowledgable and, more importantly, genuinely caring about delivering the best system possible for me. And he delivered the end result brilliantly! He is technically exceptionally strong, and professionally dedicated - and it shows in the top quality of the work done - every step, from the concrete platform for the heatpump to the surgical pipe work. He would not be afraid to give options that go against your instict, and my advice is to trust what he says. His quote, for a top system (Daikin) was also really reasonable. I would recommend him absolutely. Get a clear agreement what would would be delivered and what he will need from you (access, site preparation, etc.). My advice is to agree what you need, and cost - and then get out of his way. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Chris!

We had solar panel and batteries fitted to our 1860's cottage and office roofs. The whole process was efficient and well planned. The quality of the installation and attention to detail were first class. Have already recommended Chris to several neighbours.

Chris was very friendly, professional and informative at all stages of fitting our air conditioning unit at home for our garden room. He gave suggestions of where it would look best and found solutions to some of the issues with where we wanted it. He was very tidy and took time to explain what things would look like and what he was going to do. He is a perfectionist in his work and that reflects in the outcome. You could not wish for more.
