It has now been a year since Scott and his team have completed our solar+battery+charger installation and I am happy to leave a solid 5 star review. Everything has worked as expected, savings are on track and whenever I had a question, Scott was at hand with advice straight away. We had a particularly challenging install with a nearly flat roof on a second floor loft conversion that most installers I contacted would not touch with a barge pole. He did a thorough pre- quote survey, explaining all costs and options, and ended up predicting the peak summer output to within 2 Kw. The wiring in the house was a mix of late 80s original fuses and several conversions/extensions executed to varying standards and Scott and the team started with an in-depth testing, upgrade and partial rewiring to electric safety certificate standard. The system itself was 10x Jingko 440 panels on a special railing system with bird protection, Tesla PW3 and Ohme home pro charger. Scott was up to date with all Octopus tariffs, correctly advised on the charger bypass and talked me through other (cheaper) options. Solarus trains apprentices and they were all pleasant to have around during installation, extremely neat in their work with no corners cut. I can’t comment on price competitiveness as no one else was offering to meet our special requirements from half a dozen quotes requested. If you get several ‘can’t be done’ when looking at solar or battery, check with them.

Fantastic service from the quote stages, to installation. The guys who came to fit the EV charger were friendly, professional and very tidy - explaining what they were going to do, making sure we were happy with where everything was going to go and once they had finished, they walked us around the work they had done so we could check we were satisfied with it all. Would highly recommend - great service!

After multiple disappointing quotes and some companies that even wanted to charge for coming out to look at the job, we found Solarus. Scott was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what we needed for our Air source heat pump installation. Their quoted price was reasonable and being an MCS registered company they were able to apply for the £7500 B.U.S. grant on our behalf. The installation was done to a high standard, the pipe work all very neat and well arranged. As an added bonus they were able to safely wall mount the external unit at high level, which was a tricky job, but certainly worth the effort for the space saved. There were some hiccups along the way, for example: The hot water Cylinder arrived from the factory damaged. Credit to Scott and Nathan they refused to install and exchanged it for a new one with the cost being a lost days work for the company. All in all, Solarus have proved reliable, knowledgeable, and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I had an issue with my Solar panels last week, they basically stopped working after a power cut. After a couple of days trying to solve the problem I called Solaris and talked through the issue, we switched to FaceTime & the guy from Solaris (sorry I don’t remember your name) talked me through various checks and after 10 minutes on the phone solved the problem meaning it didn’t necessitate an engineer coming out. Absolutely 100% top class service… Honest knowledgeable company, highly recommended A+++++
