What a great experience. I spent months researching solar, comparing multiple quotes and proposals before deciding on Think Free Solar. Not only was their system exactly what I was looking for, but their price was also the best of the bunch. I was a little worried it might be too good to be true, but the installation day couldn't have gone better. The team were friendly, professional, respectful of our home, and left everything spotless. The office staff have been brilliant too, helping with a configuration change just a couple of days after the installation with no fuss. We have been extremely happy and impressed with our experience with Think Free Solar from start to finish. The initial consultation was excellent. Daryl took the time to explain all of the available options in detail and designed a bespoke system tailored to our energy usage and specific requirements. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and there was never any pressure to make a decision. After receiving the quote, we were very happy with both the proposed solution and the price, so we decided to go ahead. From that point onwards, we were kept fully informed about what to expect on the installation day, making the whole process feel organised and stress-free. The installation week began with the scaffolders arriving on the Sunday. They erected the scaffolding quickly and efficiently, were friendly and respectful of our property, and left everything clean and tidy. On Monday morning at 8:00am, the installation got underway. The first member of the team arrived alongside the delivery of the equipment, with the rest of the four-person installation team arriving shortly afterwards. During the installation, the fitters suggested a slight change to the planned location of the battery. Before any changes were made, the office contacted me to ensure I was completely happy with the proposed alteration and to reassure me that there was absolutely no pressure to deviate from the original plan if I preferred. That level of customer care was greatly appreciated. In the end, the fitter's recommendation proved to be the better option, and I'm very glad I took their advice. The installation itself progressed quickly, with the team working efficiently across multiple areas at the same time. It was obvious they were an experienced and well-coordinated team. When the time came to switch the power off to connect everything, the interruption lasted around 20 minutes, exactly as we had been advised during the original quotation. Once the installation was complete, the team helped me set up the apps on my phone, explained how the system worked, and made sure I was comfortable using it before they left. They were friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout. On Tuesday, the scaffolders returned to dismantle the scaffolding. Once again, they worked efficiently, treated our property with respect, and left everything exactly as they found it. Overall, this was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. It's rare to come across a company that is so well organised, communicates so effectively, and clearly takes pride in both its workmanship and customer service. Every member of the team we dealt with was professional, friendly, and a pleasure to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Think Free Solar to anyone considering installing solar panels. Can't recommend Think Free Solar highly enough, the whole process was so easy and personal. Daryl visited to assess what we needed and what was possible; he talked through the options available, clearly explaining the variations and answering all my questions. They were happy to change the proposed system when my requirements changed making sure it still supplied what I needed. Due to personal circumstances I had to delay and the team could not have been more understanding or helpful. When the system was installed the team were so friendly and pleasant to have around, the job was done quickly and on time taking just one day including the scaffolding.
