We got an air source heat pump installed a couple of years ago. The installation was great, as scheduled, clean and professional. We've had the odd problem with control unit resetting when we have a power cut but AES have always been available to help get us going again. Annual servicing is also good. Would definitely recommend.

Great experience all round with AES. Assessment, Installation and after-sales support was great. Technicians were neat and tidy and carried out the job professionally. They set up our air-conditioning units and solar panel installation in the most cost-efficient way possible and it's been working well ever since. 5 stars

AES supplied and installed a battery for us. The service they provided was excellent, there was an issue with the battery which required it to be replaced under warranty but they helped to sort this out. I would recommend their services and would use them again.

AES installed a 3.5Kw Daikin air conditioner in our lounge in November 2022, and replaced our gas boiler with a Samsung R290 12kw Heat Pump in the summer of 2024. AES installed the air conditioner in a few hours and we have never had a single problem with it. In our recent hot summers, it has been wonderful, easily keeping the whole downstairs of our 4 bed house to a pleasant 24C even when 40C outside. The heat pump too has had no problems, and has kept us warm for 2 winters now. We had no need to replace any radiators, though AES did install a larger water tank for us. The install only took a couple of days and the service was great. They also did all the applications for the government grant etc. for us. With 3KW of solar panels on our roof, on sunny days most of the power for the heat pump and the aircon comes from the panels, and when it doesn’t we use a cheap Cosy Octopus tariff …keeping our yearly electricity bill to just under £800 for all heating, cooling of 4 bed house and powering a family of 4 ( though our cooking is still gas ). I would highly recommend AES and the excellent Daikin and Samsung kit they have installed for us. They are a friendly and very helpful team. I would also recommend going for all 3, a heat pump for the winter, a single small aircon to heat in the winter and keep at least a few rooms cool in the summer ( essential if you work from home in the summer as I often do ) and a sensible amount of solar panels on the roof ( at least 3kw for a 4 bed house ) to power it all. I have attached some pictures, my Octopus electricity power usage for 2025 and a couple of videos of the outside units running to assure you they are both quite – they can only be heard from close by when outside and our neighbours have not noticed them.

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending AES, who delivered not only a first class service, but a first class product on every occasion I've used them. My latest involvement was in the purchase of batteries to add to my solar panels, also purchased and expertly fitted by AES. The batteries were a complicated fixing, but the technician was excellent and made absolutely sure that everything was working as it should before he left, and it's working perfectly!

Used AES to replace our old gas boiler with an air source heat pump. Contractors were quick, friendly and did a good job with making the install look clean. There were a couple issues that needed looking into which were quickly remedied at no cost to us
