I approached Cambridge Renewables for a quote to install solar panels, inverter and a battery. Yichen was really helpful and explained the systems they had. He visited our home with an installer. They measured the roof space and subsequently provided a quote. I was very happy with the communications and Carmen answered all my questions and put me in touch with previous customers who all provided very positive feedback. Once I accepted the quote on the Tuesday, the DNO was obtained within 24 hrs. The scaffolding was erected on the Thursday and the installation was completed on the Saturday. The installers were excellent, they fitted all the electrics inside the house, tidying up after them. The panels fitted the roof space perfectly. After the installers had finished Yichen met us at our home and checked the system and showed us how to use the app, Since the system was installed it has performed perfectly and the solar generation matches our consumption and already in March it is generating enough electricity to export. Today, Friday after the installation, the scaffolding was removed. Today I received all the paperwork via email. The service we received was exceptional and I would highly recommend CR for their products, installation, customer service and support.

Team was great with good work ethic and technical knowledge. Sales team was good with clear pricing. Project was delivered ontime and in budget. They delivered 36 batteries and 160 panels. Happy to be a demonstration site.

Yichen is not only my solar panel installer, he is also my physics teacher now. He explained super clearly about how many panels I needed, how big power the inverter should be, and what time settings would be the most cost efficient. 120% happy with the service.

Can't fault Yichen and the installation team. The system was set up quickly and is performing above expectation. Our roof faces East and solar is generated from early in the morning to late in the afternoon at present. We are virtually independent of the grid at the moment. Very pleased with this system and will soon be paid for excess solar generation.

Wanted someone local and accountable. CR were professional and timely throughout. Especially good was the advice and help getting the best out of the system including integration with Octopus and use of tarrifs/battery charging. Would definitely recommend.

I contacted several established local Solar/battery installation companies and found that Cambridge Renewables were by far the most competitive on price. My original enquiry was for a 5kW inverter, a 5kW battery, with approximately 18 solar panels, as this is a fairly standard installation for home owners. After choosing Cambridge Renewables for my installation, I customized my system to meet the functionality that I required. I installed a 16kW inverter and 20kW of battery storage, with 25 solar panels. This allows me to run the entire house without the need to draw power from the grid, under normal operating conditions, and export excess energy back to the grid at the most cost effective times. Communications with CN was excellent and they provided me with all of the necessary information and advice to correctly size my system. The quality of the installation work was extremely high and I would have no doubts in recommending Cambridge Renewable for domestic or commercial installations.

Yichen Shi is amazing, I needed advice about solar system I was planning to install, in particular, an appropriate battery that would work with dynamic Electricity tariff.
