I am thrilled with the solar panel and battery installation by David Cookman Electricals. David visited the site and came up with a great solution appropriate to my needs. All communication and any query was swiftly answered. The slight delay in installation was totally acceptable given the extreme temperature due to the heatwave. The team were brilliant, and left the site extremely tidy. Particular thanks to Nassar, who was so thorough with the handover and going through the app with me. I recently approached David at D Cookman Electrical Ltd for the installation of solar panels and a battery system at my home, and I could not be happier with the service I received. From the very beginning, David was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. He visited my property to carry out a thorough assessment, answered all of my questions patiently, and provided different quotation options for both Tesla Powerwall and non Tesla battery systems, allowing me to choose the solution that best suited my needs and budget. One thing that really stood out was David's expertise and responsiveness. Whenever I had questions, he was always available on WhatsApp and responded promptly with clear and honest advice. As soon as we agreed on the quotation, David immediately submitted the G99 application. In my case, approval was obtained within two weeks, although I understand times may vary depending on the network operator. Once the approval came through, we quickly agreed on an installation date. The installation itself was completed efficiently and professionally. David has dedicated teams for scaffolding, electrical work, and solar panel installation, which meant every stage of the project was handled by specialists. All of the teams were friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly experienced in their work. The installation was completed surprisingly quickly, and the team left everything clean and tidy afterwards. The workmanship was excellent throughout. After the installation, David personally returned to carry out the commissioning of the system. Everything went smoothly from start to finish, with no hassle or complications. He took the time to ensure everything was working correctly and explained the system clearly. I would strongly recommend David and D Cookman Electrical Ltd to anyone considering a solar panel installation. Their pricing was very competitive compared to other quotes I received, and the service, communication, reliability, and quality of work were outstanding throughout the entire process. I used Dave to fit my solar system (17 panels, battery and home backup power) and he did a brilliant job. Dave is highly professional yet friendly, always happy to explain and respond to any questions I had (gosh, I had many!). Dave has exceeded my expectations, especially by securing the full export rate (11.04Kw) with my DNO. Dave, Mihai and team installed in April 2026 a Tesla Powerwall 3, Tesla Expansion battery, Tesla Gateway, 27 Aiko solar panels with solar skirt, and a Hypervolt 3 Pro EV charger. Everything is working as it should with full export and Tesla's rebate secured. The installation was made more complicated because the first PW3 had a fault and had to be replaced, plus the usual delays and responsiveness of GTC, our iDNO. Really impressed by my Roof Solar Panel installation by DCookman Electrical. The scaffolding went up the day before, the panels were installed within one day as well as most of the cabling work with final electrical commissioning the following day. The whole thing took just one and a half days (even with rain showers making things slower). Scaffolding was down by the afternoon. The onsite engineers were very professional and helpful, consulting me on how I wanted things arranged (e.g. cable runs) and answering all my questions. No hesitation in recommending this company !
