John Rooney from D Cookman Electrical Ltd (Dunstable Solar) gave us a detailed presentation and answered all our questions on solar power. In August they installed 18 Hendrian Solar PV panels with a Total modular Power 8.46 kw, a FOX ESS EP12 Battery and a FOX ESS K Series Hybrid Inverter, plus TIGO optimizers on all panels. Installation was completed in one day with the team of Naseer, Eric and Troy who worked in a very professional manner. The Fox app allows us to see what we have generated and is easy to use. John Rooney was also very helpful in assisting us to complete the required documentation to get us registered.

Great service from Jon Rooney and the team at Dunstable Solar. 19 panels installed and generating more than enough electricity to power my home and car. Really good wrap around care with everything explained and set up for me. Would highly recommend.

Dunstable Solar has installed a solar power system on my home in Redbourn in Hertfordshire including a Fox battery and Fox inverter. Jon Rooney was very thorough during the design and quotation process and was happy to come back several times to answer questions that came up. There was no pressure to go ahead with the installation but the figures spoke for themselves. I was impressed by the whole installation team who all understood what they were doing and worked in a clean and tidy fashion. The system comes with a very impressive App that allows us to follow our daily electricity generation and to date the amount of electricity that has been generated is very close to the projected figures that we were given. I am happy to recommend Dunstable Solar to anyone who is considering installing a solar generating system.

Absolutely disappointed with this company. From the beginning, communication was poor and once the installation was done, getting any support became almost impossible. We were promised savings and professional service, but instead dealt with delays, unanswered calls, and issues that still haven’t been properly resolved. The installation itself felt rushed and certain things were left unfinished or not explained properly. Every time we raised concerns, we were passed from one person to another with no accountability. For such an expensive investment, I expected much better customer service and professionalism. Would not recommend this company to anyone considering solar panels. Make sure you do your research before signing anything.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a solar company. Promises everywhere before signing, then zero support after installation. Bills stayed high, delays nonstop, and customer service kept giving excuses. I would never recommend this to anyone. Be very careful before trusting them.”
