Ecostar Solar

We chose Ecostar Solar as Wayne made the effort to have a proper chat about our needs and recommend a system with good UK support, using top quality panels and all for a very reasonable cost. We went for GivEnergy's All in One system so our house could be fully powered in a power cut. In January alone we generated just over 221kWh of energy! We can charge the battery up overnight at 7.5p/kWh thanks to Octopus and then export lovely sunshine off our panels at 15p/kWh and you don't have to be good at maths to realise that you can start making money as soon as the days get longer. The after sales support has been great with Ecostar Solar and they've really gone out of their way to answer my questions with the system. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for solar and a battery. Decent guys.

Very happy with the service they supplied. Sent someone before the installation just to check all was OK to carry out the job. ON the day the work was carried our rapidly and efficiently. After sales service was excellent and they only asked for money when the whole job was complete. Would thoroughly recommend them.

Overall a very professional end-to-end experience with great results. A straight forward specification of the solution with Wayne and support to get the permission to install the GivEnergy 5kW inverter and 9.5kW batteries with Eurener black Panels and Tigo optimisers. The Ecostar Solar teams from scaffolding to installation and configuration of the system were all very friendly and professional. The significant reduction in the energy bill could be seen straight away. I couldn't recomende Costar Solar more to anyone that is looking for a PV system.

Really good service from a home visit from Wayne who knows his stuff and gave me all the info I needed to complete my calculations, to the fitting process which was done inside a week. The app used (giv energy) works well and I can program it to charge the battery up at night when elec is cheap, and do all sorts of other stuff. I'm estimating a 2.5k/year saving froma 13K outlay - pretty good payback. Having an electric car makes the battery/solar system work really efficiently.

Just recently had a full system put in by ecostar - givenergy 3.7kwh Inverter, 9.5kwh battery and 13 panel array. Really happy with every step of the process. Great bunch of guys, professional and tidy workers. We have been producing way more than we anticipated and haven't had to pay a penny in electric since installation.
