My Heat Pump and Solar journey started in April 2024, my objective was to find an installer that could supply and fit both. Started with a large energy supplier who were offering both at what seemed to be competitive pricing, however they were unable to offer a bespoke solar system and following a heat pump survey in which they were unable to supply due to a siting issue(the 1 meter rule) and they could not offer a solution to the problem. This then made me look elsewhere and ideally an installer that was relatively local and could supply and fit solar, battery and heat pump. Through watching various you tube videos from “The Renewable Heating Hub” and “Heat Geek” I became aware of Elite Services Group, so having checked out their website and the numerous positive reviews of their work, decided to contact them. I contacted them through their website enquiry form expecting a response in a few days, to my surprise I got a response that same day from James Clark who by chance would be in the area the following day and would it be possible to call in to discuss my requirements. Within a couple of weeks James had provided quotations for solar, battery and heat pump all fully detailed including individual room heat loss including current radiators and changes required, a design temperature and SCOP, expected electricity consumption and potential savings. There was one issue that could not immediately resolved, that being the siting of the heat pump because of the 1 meter rule. I advised James that I was very interested and being aware of the potential changes to the 1 meter rule in the upcoming months I would get back in touch once the changes were made or if James could find a resolution to the siting issue. James got back in touch a few weeks later to advise he had found a resolution. Following me asking lots of questions and getting prompt and detailed answers I decided to go ahead. The installation of the whole project began in early March 2025, being completed on the 10th March. Elite kept me fully informed from the start with when their installers would arrive. All of the guys were very polite and respectful of my home, they arrived on time each day and all worked very hard. When I had any questions regarding the installation they were very good at explaining the reasons why they were doing something and why. A big thank you to them all. On completion of the physical installation on the Friday the heat pump was was set up in the manufacturers default settings and I was informed that James would be back after the weekend to fully commission the system. James arrived as promised and spent about 5-6 hours setting up the system to run how I would like it, in my case it was set on full weather compensation, he also showed me how to make changes to the system if I was either too hot or cold. There have been a couple of issues with the system since initial installation, however these have been resolved promptly, in my mind this is just what you would expect from a class installer. The system was designed to run at 45C at minus 1.9C and an indoor temperature of 21C and an annual SCOP of 4.3 and a typical power usage of 5416KW. My actual consumption for the first 12 months was 3983KW with the system set to run 24/7, 365 days a year. Based upon a reverse calculation of the formula used in the heat loss report the system appears to be returning a SCOP in excess of 6.0. On the solar and battery side I had one issue when the solar appeared to have stopped working. After emailing and talking to Ben Clark, Ben came and resolved the issue that same day, again the sign of a great installer. We have just had Steven, Adam and Jude out to supply and fit a multi split air conditioning system for my living room and upstairs bedroom. Steven came out to do the quote and I explained how my son has autism and he was struggling with temperature regulation and ended up in hospital during the heatwave. This is what made us want the air conditioning installed. Steven showed so much care, compassion and understanding about our situation and explained that due to high demand stock with suppliers was becoming difficult to acquire but he would try his best to get all we needed to complete the job. Steven managed to get the parts needed for the job faster than expected. They completed the job to a very high standard with great workmanship and attention to detail. They even cleaned up after themselves leaving my house cleaner than when they started 🌟 They managed to complete the job in a timely manner and we are more than happy with the work and end results. Steven also offered us a £150 discount because we have children under 5 which was absolutely lovely of him and just shows his level of commitment to not only carrying out excellent workmanship but also building rapport and great business relationships with his customers. My son is now comfortable enough to be his usual unique self and is so happy with his new air conditioned bedroom. My partner has turned the living room into a freezer so I’m wrapping up in blankets 😅 Great job lads. Excellent service, highly recommend. We had air con installed. The whole experience was excellent from the initial on site visit to discuss our needs and best set up to the end result. Work areas were kept as tidy as possible during the install, and on site staff were polite and helpful. All paperwork and guarantees were provided by Elite. We are delighted with the end result. The system is efficient, does cooling and heating. Price very competitive, definitely recommend.

elite Services have recently installed a Midea air to air system to my living room and bedroom. I cant fault the proffesionalism of the staff before and during the installation especially the way they reacted when a problem arose with the downstairs unit. Despite how busy they were they pulled out all the stops to get the whole system up and running in double quick time on the hottest day of the year. I am very happy with my experience and would thoroughly recommend them going forward.

Had a single air-con unit installed. James and the team all very friendly and professional. Turned up on time, did the work efficiently and all went well. Pleased with the results. Only boiled the kettle about 3 times too, was expecting more, but they were focussed on the job in hand.

Had an additional battery fitted to a system Elite fitted two years ago. Very efficient work, pleased with the result. Would highly recommend
