I had solar and battery installed, from initial contact there was no hard sell, just really clear information provided. Install was really quick and workers were clean and tidy. Everything was explained clearly after install. Paperwork was all sorted quickly, and within just over a week I am registered for exports. Winter will be the main test, but in summer I've used pretty much zero from the grid since install, and now my export is setup I'm exporting what I don't use for profit. A big plus point was the scaffolding that GJM arranged was installed and removed really quickly (often an issue with any roof work I've had done in the past). All in all I would highly recommend GJM, Maybe not the cheapest (although I suspect many of the cheaper remote quotes would have gone up once doing an actual survey bringing them closer to GJMs price), but the quality and peace of mind that they are available to help if any issues is worth a lot.

We couldn’t be happier with the whole experience from start to finish. Communication throughout was excellent, and every member of the team was professional, knowledgeable and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. The installers and scaffolders were always polite, respectful, tidy and took real care while working at our home. They kept us informed every step of the way, explaining everything clearly and making sure we understood the installation and next steps. What really stood out was the amount of thought and planning that went into the design before the installation even began. Unlike other companies we spoke to, who relied mainly on Google Earth imagery and gave fairly vague estimates, they physically assessed the roof properly - first through photos and later a quick drone flight with camera. They accurately worked out how many panels would fit on the rear roof by calculating the available space from the roof tiles, meaning there were no surprises later. They were also the first company to suggest adding additional panels to the front of the house to make the most of the available sunlight and maximise the system’s performance. Their knowledge and attention to detail gave us confidence from the very beginning. The installation took place during one of the hottest weeks on record in June, yet the team worked incredibly hard to keep everything on schedule without cutting corners. The installers and scaffolders deserve a special mention for their dedication in such difficult conditions. All of the paperwork and certification was completed promptly, and even after the installation there has always been someone available by phone, text or email whenever we’ve had questions—whether about the system itself, getting everything set up correctly, or sorting out our energy provider and export tariff. The level of customer service has been outstanding from beginning to end. It’s rare to find a company that combines technical expertise with such excellent customer care. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering solar panels and battery storage. Thank you to the whole team for making what could have been a daunting process feel straightforward and stress-free.

This is essentially a Family Business. No hard pressure sales. Instead product thoroughly explained in language to novices. Both the Fitting Team and scaffold team were fantastic. A truly great and stress free service from GJM. The initial home visit clearly laid out the benefits of their proposal and answered all our questions. This was followed by a further visit to confirm the contract, agree siting and routing of the equipment and take videos for the scaffolders. The scaffold went as planned followed by a seamless install. The team went beyond expectations to avoid having cabling in trunking across our lounge and managed to channel the cable under our block wooden floor so all internal cabling is hidden. Great communication and professional service throughout the process. Highly recommended.

A great family run company to work with. We had a call with Gavin to decide the best options for our install where everything was explained clearly. There was no pressure selling. The actual installation was very efficient and very tidy, with cables routed through the house rather than just wall mounted. The system is amazing and we are already seeing a significant reduction in our electrical costs. Highly recommend!!

Amazing service from GJM. They were recommended by a friend and we are completely delighted with the whole process and install. A very professional family company with great communications throughout. The install was extremely well done, very neat and has performed flawlessly since, and we've just had GJM back to add another battery to expand the system. A perfect example of their work ethic was them spotting our gutter was full of moss and clearing it out of their own accord.
