Started my solar search in October 2025, casually browsing offers — and quickly ended up buried in quotes from two local and two national companies, all highly rated. Nationals were 20-30% cheaper; locals were more thorough. Somewhere along the way I’d been chatting with Matthew from Halo Renewables — no pressure, just genuinely useful insight on systems and tech. By Easter I was set to sign with a local company… until Matthew turned up at my door for four hours on Easter Saturday, made the case for a better-spec system at ~30% more value, and I switched. Best decision I made in this process. Installation followed two months later — sporadic but efficient communication throughout. On the day, Brad and Tom installed the full system, walked me through everything, and had the app running by 3pm. Professional and tidy work. Now, mid-heatwave, I’ve generated 4.59 MWh and nearly grand back already. Thank you Halo Renewables — and Matthew, for delivering exactly what you promised.

Highly recommended! Had a combined re roof and solar install from Halo, 24 x 465kw aiko in roof panels, G4 trays, sigenergy gateway, 8kw inverter and 2 x 10kw batteries. Cracking team from start to finish, tidy polite, conciensious bunch that certainly know their stuff. Matt that done our quote, advised and listened to many a phone call, no pushy sales pitch just solid advise. Put everything where we ask and done a neat install. All done in 3 days, Scaffolding only up for 1 week. First full month of the system running with zero grid usage and plenty of export. Big thanks to Matt and all the Halo team 🤙🤙

We had Halo Renewables install a 6.7kWp solar panel system (15 panels) with 36.16kWh of Sigenergy battery storage and an 8kW inverter at our Corby home in September 2025, along with a Sigenergy AC EV charger. The whole installation was excellent — professional, tidy, and completed to a very high standard from start to finish. In February 2026, there was a manufacturer recall on our Sigenergy inverter. Halo Renewables and Sigenergy handled it seamlessly, coming out to swap the inverter and, while the installer was already on site, fitting an additional 9.04kWh battery for just the cost of the unit itself — no extra installation charge. That's the kind of service that sets a company apart. Since installation, the system has performed flawlessly and our electricity bills have dropped significantly. If you're in Peterborough or anywhere across the wider surrounding region, and you're considering solar panels, battery storage, or an EV charger, I'd highly recommend Halo Renewables. Fantastic installer, fantastic aftercare.

Quick, efficient, value for money installation in September 2025. Nice teamwork on the day and scaffolders quick to erect and dismantle (which isn’t always the case). Large battery and solar array is saving us £££, added to charging 2 EV’s and a PHEV, which means we will recoup the installation costs in 3 years, which is brilliant. Our solar array is actually producing approximately 10% more than predicted (over the first 6 months of 2026). Sig batteries working v well, and easy to use system. I have recommended to several of my friends and colleagues

I had a very positive overall experience with HALO Renewables and would recommend them. They gave sensible guidance on the need for a larger battery setup and inverter, which suited my usage profile. They also maximised the available roof space well by installing 22 x 540W panels, which gave me confidence that the system had been properly designed rather than simply sold as a standard package. The installation itself went very smoothly on the day. The installers were friendly, professional, tidy and clearly knew what they were doing. The Sigenergy system they installed has also been excellent so far, and their pricing was very competitive compared with Octopus and other independent installers. The only areas for improvement were around the EV charging assessment and post-installation paperwork. As I already had a Tesla, I would have expected a clearer upfront discussion about whether I wanted the EV charger configured to charge from solar, grid-only or a combination of both. This took a few days to sort out after installation, which could have been avoided with better pre-installation questioning. I also wasn’t too pleased with the unusual delay of around two weeks in getting the G99 paperwork sorted with National Grid. That said, these issues were eventually resolved, and the core technical design, installation quality, product choice and value for money were excellent in my view. Overall, I am happy with the system and the service provided & would recommend 100%!!!

Superb Service: Had 20 Solar Panels and Battery installed in January 2026, the Halo team were exceptional, they were helpful, knowledgeable and even suggested a better location for the battery. Matthew was very helpful in configuration suggestions and also provided information on the installation schedule. The system is working well and I would not hesitate to use again.

Great service by Halo Renewables, Matt and the team were very knowledgeable and were able to answer all my questions. There was no pressure selling at all and the quote was extremely competitive. On the day of the install from the scaffolding with clear communication from Peter to the very neat and tidy install of the Aiko panels, Sigenergy battery and inverter, all setup and installed within two days which was never expected but Matt and his team went the extra mile to support my needs. I would recommend Halo to anyone looking for someone who they can trust to make the change to solar 👍
