Very pleased with the service provided by Glen at In Balance Energy: when our FIT meter stopped working, I searched on Google for a local solar panel specialist and phoned to enquire. Glen was very helpful and positive from the outset: he collected more information about our installation by phone/email, made a diagnosis and recommended a repair. The necessary part arrived promptly and Glen was able to visit to fit the part and set it up soon after. Throughout the process, Glen was helpful, positive and resourceful - thanks to his expertise and determination, the problem is now rectified.

My Solis inverter had decided to give up the ghost and basically stopped working. Found Glen via an online search and had a quick chat. He asked me to cutoff mains and DC. Unfortunately my Inverter was installed without a DC cutoff! Glen came over and had a tinker and confirmed it was likely to be a problem with a relay or relays. Since the inverter was 11 years old, I decided to replace it. Glen ordered the various parts, which were delivered straight to me. We had agreed a date and time to have the new unit fitted and commissioned. This was carried out to my complete satisfaction and would happily recommend In Balance Energy and Glen. A good job completed with no fuss.

Glen responded quickly to my email and was able to schedule my Blank FIT Meter problem for the next day. He quoted in advance after sending my detailed description and photos to him. He has been clear and explained everything to me and took just one hour to totally sort out the problem. A real pleasure to deal with him

Glen, got in touch with me shortly after I emailed him. He came out and diagnosed the fault quickly although we had to wait a week to have the scaffolding installed. Squirrels had caused the problem chewing the panel cable insulation. Glen worked professionally and competently until he had repaired the cables and got the results he wanted. He always kept me updated with progress and if any issues. He showed me the results he was getting and explained what the reading should be. He did resolve the issues and left everything working properly. The bad rain, frost and snow have confirmed the repairs were of a high standard. We done and thank you Glen

We had pigeon damage under our solar panels causing our inverter to stop working. Glen provided excellent advice initially and when he came to resolve the issue he was polite and very efficient. A great job done for a fair price.

Glen has been an absolute pleasure to work with. I used Glen when I first moved to Torquay to carry out a check on my solar panels when I was buying the house. Earlier this year I found out I had pigeons nesting underneath and my inverter was showing an error message regarding the RISO level. I reached out to Glen who informed me that he didn’t have anyone local to me anymore but unlike other companies, Glen didn’t turn me away. He has been so approachable, helpful and extremely quick at responding to emails to try and help me diagnose the problem. Nothing was too much trouble. After figuring out the issue, I knew he was trustworthy from the first time he had tested my panels and I really wanted to use Glen to fix the problem I had. He walked me through what to do for the initial work required and then travelled 2.5 hours to get to me for 9:30 in the morning to make sure we could achieve and fix everything in a day! As long as I know his still in this job I shall continue to use him for any other problems I have. Highly recommend !!! Our panels started tripping off early in the New Year. I contacted Glenn to see if he could help. After he asked a series of questions and me forwarding a couple of photos Glen clarified what the issue could and more importantly could not be. This saved a lot of time when he visited and he managed to solve the issue in under one hour. We could not have asked for better service. Many thanks Glen!!
