The lads were professional, polite, friendly and incredibly efficient from start to finish. They kept me informed, explained everything clearly and went above and beyond to make sure the installation was completed to a really high standard. Their manners and kindness were fantastic, and everything was left neat and tidy. Thankfully there were no issues, but their attitude and professionalism gave me complete confidence that anything would have been sorted immediately. Addendum 8/06/2026: The system has had a couple of faults. First, it tripped when used with my EV charger (see initial review). The second trip was due to a connection fault with the inverter. The LJM team responded very quickly to get the house powered by the grid before the fault was fixed. The second system outage lasted for three days, as the inverter had to be taken away on this occasion. The repair was carried out promptly. My only gripe was that the inverter's casing suffered paint scratches when it was returned. There were also some app connectivity issues after the inverter was returned, but that was fixed quickly. That cosmetic detail aside, their speed, responsiveness, and dedication to after-sales care have been superb. Installation 9/4/2026: Recently had an 8.55kWp solar system with a 10.2kWh battery installed by LJM Solutions, and I highly recommend them! From start to finish, the experience was seamless: Top-Tier Technology: Peter and the team provided high-spec Aiko 475W ABC panels and the EcoFlow PowerOcean system. The tech and its performance has been outstanding and matches our requirements. Workmanship & Quality: The installation team was professional, tidy, and clearly take great pride in their work. The wiring and mounting were clean. Fair Pricing & Promptness: They were highly competitive on price compared to other quotes I received. More importantly, they were prompt, sticking exactly to the agreed timeline for both the install and the paperwork. Exceptional After-Sales Support: When my system tripped during my Podpoint charger use, LJM responded promptly. Their support didn’t stop once the invoice was paid, Peter didn't stop once he made the sale; Peter and James were right there to ensure everything was running perfectly. The Team: Peter, James, Toby and the rest of the LJM team were truly easy to work with and accommodated our request to place the gateway in an awkward space when we found out that it had to be placed near the mains input. Everyone I spoke to, from the office (Julia) to the site installers, was helpful, knowledgeable - so genuinely focused on making sure everything was working well. The scaffolders LJM used (Empire Scaffolding) is also well known in the area and did a tidy job. If you are looking for a solar installer that combines technical expertise with reliable great service, LJM Solutions is the company. Great experience delivering here. The staff were welcoming and professional, and my bulky load was unloaded efficiently with a forklift truck. The process was well organised, and I was back on the road within 15 minutes.

The quote I was given beat all the others I had, it was very reasonable and it’s clear that LJM’s focus was to help me as a customer over making the most money. The install was done very quickly, the lads were friendly and left everything neat and tidy when they were done. Before they left they explained what everything is and how it works.
