We had a very positive experience overall with our solar panel installation. Luke and Mark first visited us to discuss our requirements and explain the options available. Once we agreed on everything, we booked the installation date and paid the 25% deposit. A couple of weeks before the installation, Luke contacted us to confirm the schedule. The scaffolding was due to be installed on the Friday before the Monday installation. Initially, the scaffolding was only erected on one side of the property, even though the solar panels were being installed on both sides of the roof. Luke contacted us to explain the situation, and the scaffolding team returned on Sunday to complete the other side, so everything was ready for Monday. The installation itself was incredibly quick. The team completed the solar panel installation in just one day, which really impressed us. There were a few issues that we weren’t completely happy with after the installation. Despite this, we paid the remaining balance, and when Luke and Mark visited on the Thursday to check that everything was okay, we raised our concerns. They inspected the issues straight away, agreed that they needed to be addressed, and arranged for the installers to return. They left the scaffolding in place for another week, and the installation team came back the following Tuesday and resolved everything without any arguments or hassle. We understand that things don’t always go exactly to plan, so we really appreciated how professionally they dealt with the situation and made sure everything was put right. Their willingness to resolve the issues gave us confidence that customer satisfaction was important to them. We are with Octopus Energy, and once Luke and Mark provided all the necessary certificates, there were no problems getting us set up on the Octopus export tariff. It has now been around six months since the installation, and the system has been working perfectly. We are already seeing the savings on our electricity bills and are very happy with the finished result. Based on our experience, we would happily recommend Luke, Mark and their team.

Luke and Mark designed and monitored our system just prior to starting up on their own. Our second set of panels has been running in tandem with our other set for over a year. It has been seamless, and extremely productive on our south facing roof. Since January we have exported almost £80 worth of electricity, our actual bill was £106. This has saved us a lot of money. The switch to Octopus was very beneficial for accurate readings, our Solar credits are deducted from our bills. Solar will make a big difference to us. We recently had a query about possible changes to GivEnergy.Our original installer is not available.Luke came round straight away, he was very reassuring, and will service and maintain our system when required. WYSIWYG with this team. We recommend them unreservedly, and wish them every success.

We had all in one battery fitted and had initial consultation to ascertain requirements all work from start to finish handled professionally. Happy with everything would recommend Lumar group to anyone in solar issues and installation.

Great company and really good service

We recently had our solar panels and battery storage fitted by Lumar Group, and the whole experience has been fantastic from start to finish. The team was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help and advise us throughout the process. Luke was amazing — he managed the job seamlessly from start to finish, keeping us informed every step of the way. Everything was installed within a day, and the communication was excellent throughout. The aftercare support has also been brilliant. They helped us get everything set up to export electricity and made sure we fully understood how everything works. Even after the daylight saving change and with lower sunshine, our system is still generating enough to power the house. Couldn’t recommend Lumar Group more highly — professional, friendly, and truly dedicated to their customers!
