sorry not sure if this company is still in business but the only way to communicate with them is by email, i have emailed on the 6th August and again on the 9th August to request a quote and some information. its the 21st now and still no response to either of my emails. if they cant answer a sales request email what are they like with their after sales issues. it is a real shame as they were my first choice.

Harvey and team listened to our requirements. Fitted all in one battery plus gateway. 18 solar panels installed. Very happy with the installation clean and tidy throughout.. Have received all paperwork.. Thoroughly recommended.. John and chris.

Moulton Solar were very knowledgeable through all parts of our installation. Provided very complete estimates and quotes. When they had a supplier issue they contacted us and gave us alternative options and how they were different from the original quote. When installing they ensured they had the correct professionals on site and went the extra distance to ensure preventative maintenance was presented to us. This preventative maintenance didn't add to the quote either. We were also given extra advice on how to reduce dirt on our system. Again this extra work was not charged for. Paperwork and commissioning was done very quickly so we were getting paid for exporting within 10 calendar days. Couldn't recommend Moulton Solar any higher.

We had been thinking of having solar panels and maybe a battery installed for some time. We had received quotes from a couple of big companies but we preferred the idea of a smaller local company to do the work. Moulton Solar came up on a Google search so I contacted them in early May. For one reason or another it was a few weeks before they could fit us in with a mutually convenient date for a site visit. Harvey duly arrived as arranged and I was immediately impressed by the respect he showed for our home, putting on clean overshoes to protect our flooring and clearly having a full understanding of what would be required. This approach would be repeated when the work was actually done. After a little discussion of what we were looking for, measurements and photos taken and our electricity usage assessed, he surprised us by showing photos he had taken of a couple of cracked tiles on our roof. He assured us these could be taken care of while they were doing the work without any additional cost. The detailed quote duly arrived via email and was very competitive (ie a significantly lower price than either of the bigger companies had quoted). We duly booked our installation for late July. Having seen a couple of solar installations done locally, we were concerned that we might have scaffolding on site for several weeks, but we were assured that this would not be the case. As it happened, we were away on holiday when the scaffolders visited, which caused no issues although I did discover that they had dislodged a section of rainwater downpipe and simply left it lying on the ground. It didn't take much trouble to replace it myself, so why didn't they put it back? The installation began on the Monday as arranged and all went smoothly. Day One saw the panels in place and most of the hardware installed in the loft. Day Two had the panels finished off, pigeon protection fitted and the wiring done. Day Three saw final details and testing/commissioning of the kit (very important!). All in all we were impressed by how neatly and cleanly the work was done. As promised, the scaffolding was gone just a week later. As it turned out there were a couple more already cracked tiles and one or two more that needed replacing as they had broken when being "notched" to accommodate the mounting hardware for the panels. All were replaced as part of the job. The necessary paperwork and certificates all followed within a few days and there was one further follow-up visit to install smoke alarms in our loft the next week. All in all a very satisfactory experience (except for the drainpipe).

As an Domestic Energy Assessor I have been looking to add solar panels to my house for a while. Due the environmental benefit and financial one. I contacted a few companies however I found Moulton Solar to be the most honest, professional and easy to work with. I am really pleased with the work, we have had lots of compliments on how good the panels look. I won't hesitate to recommend Moulton Solar.

From first contact to the completion of the installation Moulton Solar have been very professional. There were no hard sales pitch. They listened to my requirements discussed the options available. They started the installation on the agreed date 19th April 2023. During the installation they found a problem with the roof, which they highlighted to me and and sorted out. This could have caused the roof to leak in the future. I now know my roof is sound even though i had roofing company who did some work last year and they did not highlight the issue to me. On completion Harvey set the App up on my phone and explained the system. All paperwork received. I contacted Harvey with some queries which were dealt with very fast. One of which was another battery which was installed on the agreed date. The service I received was to a high standard and i could not have expected more. All the team and the sub contractors where very professional, polite and courteous. I would recommend Moulton Solar. Many Thanks
