New Gen Renewables

We have been researching the whole solar installation for a while, having had numerous conversations with some of the national companies who seemed to be pushing very hard, we eventually found New Gen Renewables and are pleased we did. Our installation was completed last week, Phil and his team at NGR have held our hand through the entire project, the guys installing the panels, the electrician connecting us have done a great job. Communication has been great, we have now received all our warranties & insurance docs. The cost of solar is a significant amount, the nuances of the solar business can be taxing & complex, we are pleased we put our faith in Phil and his team, and yes, the price was to our liking.

We were thinking of putting in solar panel for quite a while when New Gen Renewables came into us to put a proposal forward, having got some other quotes, we decided to go with them because their proposal seemed to be the best one for us. It wasn’t just cost, it was the way the guys came and saw us and spoke about the install which seemed very professional in their approach. It is supplying power to the park so it will also benefit our customers as we wont have to increase charges. It is certainly helping from an environmental point of view, we should all be doing what we can. There was literally no disruption, and the install was done a few days before the park reopened. Payback has been greater than expected and we are looking at 2- 2½ years. I can recommend New Gen to anybody, very professional company, we had no issues, very helpful from start to finish. So much so that I asked them to install an additional system on the house.

Great customer service! I was on the fence on getting solar panels as the bills have become a bit too steep for my liking but after having a conversation I was convinced. The owner offered me a good deal and the service was fantastic. Highly recommend it.

Really good experience with New Gen Renewables from start to finish. Had solar panels fitted and the lads were spot on- turned up on time, worked hard, and got everything done to a high standard. Easy to deal with, no messing about, and explained everything properly without trying to oversell anything. Really happy with the install and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking at getting solar panels fitted.

Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish. The team were professional, knowledgeable, and kept us updated throughout the whole installation process. The instillation team were very flexible and ensured that everything was completed on time. The system looks great, and we’ve already noticed a difference in our energy bills. Amazing service. Highly recommend. I had been let down by a previous Solar Engineer to re instate a system on a brand new roof I had installed, Phil and his team were out the very next day and got everything done the same day. 5 stars all round.

Bodmin - A Solar Success When we moved to Bodmin from a bungalow with a small solar panel/battery System we knew we would probably put solar panels/battery in at some stage. The good news was the south facing house. The not so good news was the electric Underfloor heating so we would need a bigger system than we expected. We soon found there were not many installers/suppliers in the Southwest And were not very confident of the big national installers. We found a medium sized local installer who were helpful suggested 3 possible brands And agreed the one we chose as the best fit for us. When we got their quotes it was clear that there was only one brand they wanted to sell And it was not our chosen brand. We contacted Ecoflow and the nearest installer they could suggest was New Gen Renewables in Dorset. From first contact to first solar kW they have been excellent. They were prepared to install well outside their area. Their MD Martyn Rainer was really helpful in selecting solar panels understanding export tariffs location of panels and equipment. Within 3 days we had their proposal which we accepted. Jake Sayer took over the running of the project and has been a star through out. - Guided me in preparing the location of the kit -Arranging all the admin and certification - Extensive advice on the use of the monitor for future use In controlling our underfloor heating charging EV And managing our Octopus dual rate tariff. Come the big day the electrician and panel riggers arrived When expected after a 2 + hour journey the careful planning and the design of the ocean power system made for a really smooth installation. The team were friendly and clearly very competent and enjoyed their work. The System has been running for 2 weeks now and is working really well We have been about 80% independent with some battery charging and EV charging on the night tariff. Looking forward to seeing the next bill from Octopus. All in all hats off to New Gen Renewables
