It is now 15 months since our 16 solar panels and battery were fitted in an extremely efficient operation. We have had no issues with the new system and it has performed brilliantly, with our maximum daily output reaching over 40kWh which is fantastic especially as our roof faces NE/SW (we have 8 panels on each side). The installers were excellent and everything was done in a timely and tidy way. Communication was excellent throughout and we even got to understand some of the technical detail we were clueless about to begin with. Being nearly a year in, the projections of what we would produce and save are proving to be pretty accurate. It's great fun receiving refunds from the energy company and reducing our direct debits as we go. So whilst it will take us a few years, we're on our way to breakeven.
