Extremely happy with the work undertaken by Solar Solutions Oxford. Dan and Ollie did a great job installing the panels, and were happy to answer our numerous questions. Would definitely recommend them.

If you are thinking of having a Solar and/or Battery install done at your home then there are no end of options out there. Large companies, energy suppliers - you name it and you are spoilt for choice. Many of whom employ high pressure sales consultants who are motivated by commission and not by ensuring you get the right solution for you. From my experience, you won't make a better decision than to trust Tom and the team at Solar Solutions to deliver exactly what you want, when they say they will do it and deliver a first class install. There is no high pressure sales, just good, honest advice from a local company who are there to do a good job. I was impressed by Aidan of Solar Solutions Oxford visiting our house to discuss our requirements for a quotation, including checking likely locations and access arrangements for installing the different parts of the system and their cabling. Other companies providing quotations did it without ever visiting the site, working just from a Google Maps aerial view for the roof size. Unlike the others, he also gave options for the manufacturer of the batteries, invertor etc (and his quotation was significantly lower than the competition despite having the same peak power output and a larger battery capacity). Despite some minor problems with cracked tiles found in our 40 year-old roof, the solar panels were installed well within one day. Indeed, Simon, who dealt with these issues, put considerable effort into moving the damaged tiles to points where with little or no modification, they provided the cable entry points for the panel connections. One was overly damaged and he went to three stockists of old tiles trying to find an exact replacement, although the closest he could get was a little paler: it is difficult to see it under the edge of the panels, however - not a problem. All the Solar Solutions team were very friendly, happy to talk about what they were doing and very efficient - and good at tidying up the work area at the end of the job. They patiently discussed options for how to overcome a problem of the Sigen Gateway module not seeing our "hidden" wifi network and fairly quickly resolved that and got the system up and running with mobile phone and lap-top access for monitoring and controlling it. All is working nicely as I write, although it is too soon after the system completion to have entered into it the terms of any tariff to be agreed with our electricity supplier. Very strongly recommended!

A first class experience from day one; informative initial call, on site survey, tuned proposal, competitive quotation and an absolutely top class installation from a team of knowledgeable, polite and hard working professionals - highly recommended.

Their customer service is really bad, i got appointment for Friday at 12pm, I asked day off from my work, they didn’t come surveying. The reason is they are busy. If you are busy why you booked another appointment ?

Fantastic and seamless install from start to finish. The whole team are professional, courteous and hard working. Asked them to hide as much of the wiring as possible and they achieved it, even running it down behind the rainwater pipe, which I hadn’t thought of. Highly recommend this company.
