We used Solar Star Power for our solar installation as we were keen to a local company. From the initial enquiry right through to the installation and completion paperwork the entire process was smooth, professional and exceptionally well organised. From the office team to the electricians and panel fitters, everyone did a first class job, polite, efficient and knowledgable. The installation was completed quickly and to a very high standard, our property was left clean and tidy. Solar Star Power are one of the best examples of a customer first business. I initially looked at options several years ago and asked David for help earlier this year on a new system quote. We exchanged many phone calls, lots of emails, and David was knowledgeable and reassuring the whole way. Whilst they are not as prominent on social media as other local Solar companies, I loved the family friendly appeal, the history and longevity and the fact it’s all in house. The roofing team and electricians arrived on the install day and quickly got to the job, working around cars/hot tubs, but explaining the process well. We had to make some decisions on where to lay the cables and panel layout etc. but the team were more than happy to review options and pro’s/con’s. I got a full demonstration on install, and received the MCS certificate the next day, which helped with export approval! Honestly - I wasn’t the easiest customer to deal with, but the professionalism shrone through. Couldn’t recommend any more highly!!!

I couldn't be happier with my experience with Solar Star Power following the installation of a 25-panel dual solar array and Fox Battery alongside EV charger at my property. Having multiple roof levels and a limited loft capacity in certain sections I was very impressed with the overall aesthetics of the installation too. From the initial enquiry right through to the installation, final invoice and all of the handover paperwork, the entire process was smooth, professional and exceptionally well organised. Every stage was handled efficiently, and the level of customer service throughout was genuinely impressive. I largely dealt directly with Emily, one of the family members who owns the business, which gave the whole experience a much more personal feel. Communication was excellent from start to finish, with emails and questions answered incredibly quickly and thoroughly. It was clear that customer satisfaction is a genuine priority. One aspect that really stood out was that there was no upfront payment required, which gave me a great deal of confidence. My installation also required planning permission, and the local planning authority took considerably longer than expected to make a decision. Despite the delays being completely outside of their control, Solar Star Power were incredibly patient, understanding and supportive throughout, with no pressure whatsoever. Once everything was approved, the installation itself was completed remarkably quickly. The engineers were punctual, efficient, clearly took pride in their work, and were incredibly friendly and approachable throughout. They left everything tidy at the end of the job and were happy to answer any questions I had, alongside explaining how to use the app and safely cut the power from the panels if ever required. Their quotation was also very competitive compared with others I received, and after reading their consistently excellent reviews, I felt confident choosing them. They have certainly lived up to that reputation. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Solar Star Power to anyone considering solar and have already done so. They combine competitive pricing with outstanding communication, excellent workmanship and genuinely first-class customer service. We were recommended Solar Star Power based in Uttoxeter by a friend, and we were impressed right from our initial contact. Our main point of contact has been Louisa, and I have to say she has been fantastic. Her communication was both informative and spot-on; she was incredibly patient with my numerous questions and never pushy, which we really appreciated. We were offered a number of installation options and ended up going with the Tesla Powerwall 3 along with a total of 28 solar panels and a Tesla car charger. ​The pricing was transparent, and no payment was required until the job was fully completed, though they do offer a payment plan option if needed. One of the things we liked most was that the installation was done entirely in-house rather than being subcontracted out. ​When it came to the installation, we had two teams: the solar installers and the electricians. Both teams were first-class—polite, very tidy, and the quality of the final product is excellent. There was no lengthy wait for the scaffolding to come down either; it was completely removed on the same day. ​The aftercare has been equally great. Louisa has been organising our export paperwork and consistently chased Scottish Power until it was all sorted. Our experience with this company has been brilliant from start to finish. We can’t thank Louisa and the team enough, and we would highly recommend Solar Star Power.

Solar Star was recommended from a friend and really glad for the suggestion. Speedy quote and didnt wait long for the installation. Very responsive and professional service throughout. The 21 panel, 2 Tesla batteries and charger were really well installed and the team left the site very tidy. They did their best to route cables and trunking to maximise aesthetics. Top job!!
