SolarTec

SolarTec is a Brighton-based solar maintenance and repair company with 12 team members, including Scott, Jason, George, and Simon, an electrician. It provides design, installation, and maintenance services for solar and charging solutions, covering domestic and commercial installations across Sussex, Surrey, and Kent. The company works with handpicked manufacturers and installs solar panels, EV charge points, and storage batteries.

SolarTec has installed solar panels at properties across the UK. Projects include solar panels and battery storage at Worthing Thunder's facilities, solar panels and battery at a 3-bedroom home in Arundel, an EV Zappi Charger and solar on a bungalow, a Solax inverter and batteries and a Zappi EV charger, and an EV charging system for a second home in Hove. Follow-up paperwork and guarantees are provided.

Solar installations, battery storage and electric vehicle charging sit at the heart of the work described by customers of this Brighton firm, with maintenance and repair also featuring in their accounts. Expertise and advice come up repeatedly, with reviewers noting that information and pricing were set out clearly and without pressure, and that questions were answered at each stage.

The professionalism of the installation teams is another recurring theme, and named staff including Jason, Scott, Simon and George are thanked for coordinating logistics, managing projects and keeping customers informed. Punctuality is mentioned often, with jobs beginning and ending when promised and the team remaining contactable afterwards. Customers also describe the work as tidy and well organised, remarking that the finished panels looked better than expected and that the equipment was of good quality, while fair and competitive pricing is a further point that comes up often.

The team's ability to simplify technical details, whether for panels, battery storage or charging equipment, is widely appreciated, as is its helpful, honest and efficient manner. Requests for extra work, such as upgrading an existing charger so it drew from the solar system, were handled smoothly. The consistency of this service across installations and follow-up support is what customers return to.
