We have just had 22 panels; a battery system; inverter; gateway; iBoost system and car charging point fitted by the team, led by Matt. Like all the other reviews, the experience we had was flawless. Despite working in record breaking temperatures, the guys delivered a system that we are delighted with. Their attention to detail, quality of finish, timely communications; tidiness and politeness is a credit to them all. What was unusual is that we both felt a level of calmness with the project. We recently had a battery system added to our existing solar installation by South Lincs Solar. Matt proved very knowledgeable when meeting to design the system and went through the various options to meet our requirements. He did not push features that we did not need and there was no “hard sell” approach. The quote for the system arrived promptly and was very reasonable. On installation day Josh and Chris worked tirelessly (on a very hot day) and the installation was completed quickly with minimum disruption. They were extremely tidy and the installation was very neat. They removed redundant equipment from the loft and then explained everything and made sure we were happy before leaving site. We are very happy with the system and it is working extremely well. There are many solar companies out there and it is very important to do your homework before choosing one. Matt and his team were brilliant from the very start of the whole process, from the initial home visit to the quote and then the installation. We recently used South Lincs Solar for a major home energy transition, installing an 8.74kWp array (17 x Jinko 460W dual-glass panels) alongside a 17.6kWh Sigenergy SigenStor battery stack, 6kW hybrid inverter, and Sigen Gateway. From start to finish, the experience was flawless. The Installation & Workmanship The team at South Lincs Solar is incredibly fast, efficient, and professional. The installation itself was handled with great care, including neat cable routing and the neat integration of a bird-guarding system. They also seamlessly configured our EV charger on a separate Henley block circuit to ensure complete operational independence—showing a high level of technical competence and attention to detail. Communication & Process Communication throughout the project was excellent. They kept us informed at every stage of the process, from initial scoping through to commissioning. They didn't just install the hardware; they made sure the Sigen Gateway and mySigen app were fully configured, optimised, and ready to manage our energy storage efficiently. The Verdict If you are looking for a company that delivers premium technical expertise, rapid execution, and clear, transparent communication, I cannot recommend South Lincs Solar highly enough. Had solar panals and 2 batteries installed by Matt and his team recently and have to say we were very impressed with their professionalism. All very helpful and Matt In particular kept us updated from start to finish. An app was provided once all was installed showing all you need to know and is very easy to use.
