Following our ECO4 funded installation of an ASHP, plumbing, radiators and ventilation we had a couple of minor snags / queries that we asked if Stellar Energy could advise on and correct if possible. The company was very helpful and promptly arranged for Dan and Sean to visit today. The snags were sorted and the house left clean and tidy as they have all through the project. Thank you to Dan and Sean for help today. Your professionalism, politeness and friendliness that you both display ensures that you are both excellent ambassadors for your company and hope that they appreciate you. UPDATE as at 01 July 2026 A year on and I can report that our ASHP system has been working well. Our house was warm throughout winter at 20°C and cost us a lot less than we spent in previous years. We used to only be able to afford to heat half our house to 20°C and the other half to 14°C in winter using our programmable electric radiators, supplemented with a log burner and using an immersion heater for hot water. So we are a very happy and satisfied customer.

This company undertook cavity insulation at my house. They have caused damage to my property and have not answered any calls or replied to any concerns from me for 3 months now. Awful service. I'm actually shocked a company can actively ignore a customer like this for so long. Avoid!

Avoid this company – Terrible GBIS installation and zero customer service ​I had window ventilation installed by Stellar Energy UK Ltd under the Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS). The installation is incredibly poor—they ruined every single window they touched in my house. The vents let in severe draughts and external noise even when completely closed, causing our internal home temperature to plummet below 14°C at night. It is not weather-tight. Instead of taking responsibility, the contractor gave false information to E.ON, claiming our windows were just "left open." I have had to film video proof showing the windows locked and vents shut to expose this lie. Furthermore, they pressured a non-technical family member to sign a satisfaction slip immediately upon finishing before these latent defects became apparent, and they have completely ignored our communication for nearly two months. ​Formal cases are now being escalated to E.ON Next, Utilities ADR, and TrustMark for a breach of the Consumer Rights Act. Avoid this company if you want a warm, safe home.

Great job with loft insulation. However, i’ve been waiting 4 weeks for someone to come out and hook up the extractor fans in the kitchen and bathroom. Have called / emailed at least 10 times in the last couple weeks. Poor communication.

The boys did a good job up until the end, the extractor fan cover broke, and they thought it would be a good idea to get the wrong one and silicone it on like as If I would never find out. I would've given 5 stars otherwise. Very disappointing. I would rather them be honest and say it doesnt fit then try and fit it incorrectly making it difficult to access the settings for the extractor fan. Update: they got in touch and rectified the issue. Thanks

Jack and Dan came to my house to install trickle vents and an extractor fan in the bathroom. They were professional and considerate and explained the work being carried out. They answered any questions that I had. I hope the team that complete the insulation install are just like these two. Thank you.

Dan and Martin were brilliant throughout the day! Really appreciated them being patient with me while I asked all my questions, and took the time to explain what they were doing when i had a concern. Work done was high quality, and they did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards. Thanks very much Dan and Martin :)
