Tile Energy have been brilliant from start to finish. They installed our system in November 2025 and the whole process was smooth, efficient, and really tidy. The system has been running perfectly ever since — and I’ll admit I’ve become slightly obsessed with checking the SolarEdge app to see exactly how it’s all performing. It’s a great feeling knowing we’re so well insulated from any future energy issues. The quality of the installation has given us a lot of confidence, and I can definitely see us going back to them in the future to increase our battery storage and add backup capability for power cuts. A genuinely great local company. Highly recommended.

The whole team here are exactly what you want as a customer spending a chunky sum of money on solar installation. My hand is held every step of the way, I get lots of detail about how to maximise my investment and they listen. Everyone is so personable and I buy from people I like and trust. The whole installation process was very professional and efficient, and all the Tile Energy employees and subcontractors were helpful and pleasant to deal with. I have just received my first month's bills from Octopus - the net cost of my energy for February was less than £5 (including standing charges), at last year's rates it would have cost me over £140. I look forward to some summer sun ... :-). The one thing I did not pick up on at the beginning was how smart the Tesla control software is. I started off trying to micro-manage exporting excess energy from the battery myself ... without realising that if i leave it alone the software will do that for me! All in all, very happy. Andrew

Tile Energy recently installed Tesla batteries at our home. The technician was superb, not only the quality of his work, but also in ensuring a better siting for all the kit and routing of cables than originally envisioned. The support being offered post installation from their office has been most helpful too. They are a good company whom I have already recommended to others.

After extensive research, we decided to go with Tile Energy — and we’re very pleased to say it was absolutely the right decision! From the moment Andy arrived to carry out the initial survey, we’ve been impressed. Everyone who has been on site throughout the process has been professional, friendly, and hardworking. They are all a real credit to the company. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tile Energy to anyone considering their services.

Tile Energy installed panels the week before Christmas. The installation process was fraught with issues. Whilst in the loft they caused a water leak by, I assume, stepping on pipe work. Luckily we spotted this the next day, so the bedroom ceiling only needed redecorating. They also burnt a hole in the lounge carpet, that needed a repair, and cracked an outside brick whilst drilling through the wall for the internet connection cable. To top it all off one of the panels was faulty , and this took 5 visits to fix, which each time meant more engineers climbing all over the roof. During the 6 weeks it took to resolve the issues, the communication from Tile Energy was poor, with little empathy for the upset caused. The actual installation team were ok to communicate with, but Tile certainly lack customer management. I realise the issues were compounded by the Christmas break, but being left not knowing when and how things were to be resolved was very poor. At the end the owner offered a measly amount of compensation (£60) for all the damage, worry and time we spent resolving these issues. Tile Energy did cover the cost of all repairs, but did not appreciate the amount of effort and work from our side. A real shame to have to give a bad review, as we chose Tile Energy because they are a local firm who came highly recommended.
