TJS Solar

Tony came out to complete the survey and answered all of our questions. TJS were recommended via a neighbour whose friend had used them. We were happy to go with a recommendation and also supporting a local company was important to us. The workmen who came to complete the installation were great - really polite, informative and respectful. They worked neatly and cleanly and tidied up after themselves. The system was installed and Ryan checked it was functioning correctly, showed us the SIGEN app and answered any questions. We would recommend TJS without hesitation. Our only frustration is with the Scaffolding Company who, despite us explaining we were going away on holiday and really wanted it removed before in order to access our garage, were very unhelpful and 10 days after installation, 5 days after we left for our holiday, still have not taken it away. I would advise TJS to consider this when engaging a scaffold company as it could unfairly reflect negatively on them.

Initial consultation was in-person and everything about configuring the system, how it would be built and payments to be made were explained in understandable language. Installation was quick and efficient and the system is now humming away nicely

TJS Solar was one of several companies I contacted for a quote for solar and battery storage solution. However, they were the only one willing to make the 1.5hr journey to my property for the consultation, with competitors choosing to do it via MS teams. Stephen was knowledgeable. explained what system he thought would work for me, gave me a price, left his details and offered no more hard sell tactics. Throughout the installation, the workmen on sight were friendly and explained each stage of the install, with Dan in the office in contact to arrange each step. I asked for an additional panel mid way through which they sources and fitted with no issue. Tony took care of the application to the grid which was painless and the system was up and running, generating electricity within 6 hours of them arriving. All in all, highly recommended. I was dubious with who to choose due to all the unscrupulous solar installers, but I can confirm no such issues, and all paperwork was professionally produced and sent to me within a day of the job being finished.

TJS installed a 22 panels system for me with 11.5kw battery and 8kw inverter. Completed the work as promised and had been very responsive throughout the process. I found them technically skillful in the job. Post installation survay of the roof and repairs been the top notch. System is working above expection currently.

After a shaky start (not really their fault - scaffolding being cancelled at the last minute and equipment doing the same a couple of days later), the TLS team stepped up and worked like Trojans in some horrific weather conditions. The install looks excellent, works well (chucking out 5.5kW as I type) and batteries filling up nicely. The paperwork (albeit very complex) is reassuringly comprehensive. Very happy at this stage (1 month after install).
