Upvolt Oxfordshire

Upvolt Oxfordshire recently (August 2026) fitted 5 solar panels on my roof, excellent and professional throughout the whole process from set up to final installation. All staff were happy to answer any questions and documentation was provided quickly after install.

Upvolt Oxfordshire installed my solar panels and the product and service was first rate. Nothing ever goes smoothly, but issues beyond their control were managed and sorted quickly and efficiently. The instillation team were wonderful. Upvolt Oxfordshire were always available via phone or email for and queries. Cannot recommend them enough

Upvolt Oxfordshire did a great job installing our solar panels with a friendly professional team of installer who just got on and installed the kit and explained how it operates. The installation process was very slick from the scaffolding, roof and electrical installation to derigging the scaffolding and collecting the rubbish very impressive

Upvolt Oxfordshire, based out of Harwell, were knowledgeable, personable and friendly in the decision-making and design stage; and the teams that did the install on the hottest days ever recorded in the UK were efficient, professional, and determined to get the install completed on time despite the weather. We chose Upvolt based on a combination of knowledge imparted during the pre contract survey, pricing and detailed the pros and cons of the available options. It did help that I understood the basics of power and energy. They confirmed what we needed to ask our energy supplier to do - install a new meter. The installation process from start to finish was very straightforward. First we were kept in the loop on a daily basis as to what to expect by the assigned project manager. The on site staff were craftsmen who took great pride in their work and treated our home with great respect. Both the PMs and onsite staff never failed to keep us posted regarding how the work was going. Yes we did have some minor hiccups with incorrect parts deleivered, but that simply delayed the installation a day. Once completed and the paperwork in place they provided information to allow us to take active measures to manage how the battery, solar, grid mix worked based on the tariff we have with the energy supplier (because we chose that option - you can simply let the system do its thing but that did not suit the tariff we wanted to use). We heartily recommend this firm as they have still kept their family run ethos with every person in the team owning all the issues between them. We always felt we were in a safe pair of hands.

Upvolt Oxfordshire took the trouble to listen to what we wanted and did a thorough survey to produce their quote. The installation went like clockwork and their guys clearly take pride in what they do - their work is very neat. Their whole process from start to finish took a month (possibly due it being Feb!) . Happy to recommend them.
