Quality inverters with quality components 👌
My Solis Inverter keeps tripping the ring-main RCD and comes up with a fault code OV-TEM. Un-Surprisingly it means over-temperature! I’ve telephone their Liverpool service phone number three times and have been promised a call back………which never comes! DREADFULL Customer Service for a product under Warranty and conscious dismissal of a potential fire Hazard - I can only take them to the Small Claims Court for the value of a replacement Inverter + fitting and hope the house doesn’t burn down in the interim as my claim will increase somewhat. One star only because I can’t give them zero stars!
I received excellent service from Mohit and Daisy when I needed technical support. They were quick and professional to resolve my issue. Thank you
Poor quality products with very poor service given during warranty. One of our 60kw invertors failed after just over 1 year’s use. Our installer has been chasing to get a replacement under warranty, service is slow to respond and stated the invertor is out of stock and gave no date when a replacement will be sent. There are over 50 new 60KW invertors in stock at the original wholesaler that the invertor was purchased from! The process has been going on for over 3 weeks now with multiple forms to fill out and multiple business days before any reply's and still no resolution.
Very recently installed Solis S6 inverter showing alarm problem and batteries not discharging at all . As the customer /end user Solis were unable to assist me personally . But that is not really my gripe . Seldom in life have i encountered such poor comprehension and such a bad manners ,i accept we have a little language barrier which makes things more difficult , but the rudeness of the so called Solis service operator was frankly pretty disgraceful , ya spends ya money and it doesnt work ...Tough !! UPDATE Just had conversation with another guy from Solis "Eric "( again perhaps English not his native tongue ) but what difference , polite , helpful ..Problem solved ...Thank you Eric !
Fitted in 2015, lasted 9 years. Should be built to last much longer. Apparently there are really really cheap relays in these that burn out. Probably reduced the manufacturing cost but Id rather have them charge a higher price and not cut back on reliability. Just shows what the company is like.
