Approached Solar Edge Protection after a group of feral pigeons took to starting to build nests under our solar panels. Solar Edge Protection were quick to respond to my initial enquiry and after discussion about our roof layout provided a detailed quotation and options for when the work could be undertaken. The fitting team arrived as promised and explained clearly what they had to do and checked with me before and after that the solar pv panels were all working. The team took photos of all the stages of the installation, fixed several missing slates, cleaned the panels and cleared out the nesting material. All hassle free. As for the pigeons they left a few days later to find some unprotected solar panels to call home.

What a refreshing change finding a company that are efficient, informative and do exactly what they say they will do. From my initial phone call when I enquired about bird proofing to the guys coming to fit it the whole experience was 5 star. The office staff were knowledgeable and gave me a rough quote during the initial enquiry, kept in touch and answered any questions throughout the booking system. The guys that fitted the bird proofing were polite, knowledgeable and very tidy workers. I had Solar Edge Protection Ltd from Glasgow come out to repair my Solar Panels. They arrived on time and Tommy explained what they were going to do. The panels were stripped and re-fitted with new cabling where the squirrels had chewed through. They fitted custom cut squirrel protection strips all around the panels. They washed the panels and cleaned the gutter. They have done an amazing job, even replacing 10 roof tiles, which they were not required to do. They left my property clean and tidy and I am so pleased with the result. Would not hesitate recommending this company.
