Ben, Paul and Dom make a great team to bring together an excellent solar installation. Our original ask was a solar system to improve our overall energy footprint (EPC rating) and through the process we ended up with a highly efficient cost saving system that is also stylish. I reached out to Paul initially to get our new home up to par on the electrical side with the intent of exploring Solar. Ben was brough into the conversation and he provided us with an easy to understand and comprehensive proposal with thought out suggestions on placement and usage. The team suggested an Anker Solix back end (battery, converter and gateway) which is sleek and very adaptable system – they did their homework on finding a great vendor. They also provided very good-looking panels that integrated so well with our 1850s dated property. The electrical work by Dom and Paul was top notch (they kept everything tidy and clean) and the attention to detail by Ben on the solar panel placement was amazing (he was even happy to remove the antiquated satellite dish from our roof when he was up there 🙏). Great communication, great technology (their portal – proposal – handover documents) and a great work ethic. We are generating more power than anticipated and are extremely chuffed by everything about our new system. We know we are in a good safe pair of hands for ongoing support and maintenance (Ben even helped solved log in issues and proper setup to be able to charge the batteries overnight). So, a very big thank you to Ben, Paul and Dom and a 100% recommendation to anyone thinking about using the SolarFX team for a solar installation.

I had been meaning to look into solar panels and battery storage for some time and when investigating who to use, the name Solarfx came up on review sites so i asked Ben and team to site survey, discuss and quote for their best options and return on investment. Very impressed and happy with what happened thereafter so I thought I would add to the reviews and help others make decent choices. Ben in particular was outstanding when it came to professional, honest and experienced visit followed by his proposal and costings. I check the companies accreditations and reviews and finally instructed them to go ahead. End result was better than hoped with my mains electrics costing have disappeared on to history. We recently had a full panel and battery storage system installed by Solar FX, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. From the very first phone call, Ben and his team was incredibly helpful informative and professional. We received a complete survey pack showing our roof space and how the panels would look. This pack also showed us how much it would cost, and how much we would save over a period of time and to show us the cost effect of having solar panels installed. This also explained exactly how the system would work. Once we agreed to have the system installed Ben and his team were brilliant. They arrived right on time, they were extremely polite, and worked efficiently to minimise any disruption. The scaffolding team was in and out with no issues. Ben and his team did a phenomenally neat job running the cables and setting up the inverters. We also had the additional box fitted that allows the panels to continue working even in the event of a power cut . The whole system was installed in just a couple of days and we are already seeing a significant drop in our monthly electricity bills.
