The system was up and running on the same day as install. They also helped me change my electric and gas supplier to get the best deals. Very happy customer.

Absolutely no hesitation in recommending The Energy Experts. I had a few other quotes from other companies , some were very pushy but as soon as I spoke with David it was evident he knew what he was talking about and he was really helpful. Answered all my very many queries, offered loads of options and time to think over without any pressure at all. Was a delay in getting the DNO sorted but I think that’s pretty usual but all in all was a seamless process. We had 28 panels installed and 2x batteries and inverter in February.The installation was extremely quick and the team were very polite and tidy. One small issue with an electrical part and that was rectified a couple of days later . I wasn’t expecting much revenue so early on in the year , but we were getting free electricity from day 1. We had 15 panels and 2 batteries installed by The Energy Experts. They were the last of four companies I requested quotes from, but after my call with Dave I had effectively already decided to go ahead with them. Dave was very professional and straightforward, which felt refreshing compared to what you often get elsewhere. Unlike the other three companies I quoted, The Energy Experts carry out the installation themselves; the others all used subcontractors. That mattered a lot to me. There’s little point checking reviews of an installer if the actual work is done by someone else whose track record you don’t know. Pricing was competitive. Their quote was only slightly higher, and given that I am a long way from their usual area (around six hours’ drive), the slight extra cost was very reasonable. I was expecting it to be much more. I was surprised they were willing to offer the service at all at that distance. We did hit a few snags along the way, but they were resolved quickly. There were some delays getting things started, mostly due to slow responses from the DNO, the holiday period, and the difficult weather conditions in early 2026. Once things got under way, however, the process ran smoothly and the system worked from day one. I was promised a five-star service, and I can confirm that is what I received. The installation team was careful with the property and worked hard, and they were pleasant to talk to during breaks.

As the installation process began, three key dates were provided: one for the scaffolding setup (usually one week before the install), one for materials delivery (typically one day before the install), and the installation date itself. During the installation, they encountered a minor setback as the roof tiles were more firmly fitted than anticipated, causing the installation to extend from one day to one and a half days. This was no issue for me, as I appreciated their clear communication and high level of professionalism. Once the system was installed, they assisted in setting up the app on my phone to monitor the system and usage. They explained the key information about the system, and by the time they left, I was already generating energy for my home. Post-installation, I faced some challenges setting up my export account with my energy provider, which allows me to receive payouts. Reaching out to the Operations team at The Energy Experts, I received excellent support and guidance on addressing the follow-up queries for generation approvals. Thanks to their assistance, my energy export account is now successfully set up. Overall, the experience with The Energy Experts has been fantastic. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone considering solar energy.
