Supposedly delivered to a neighbour but in fact sent it to a completely different address – which we only found out about by accident, almost a week after the actual delivery. Took no responsibility for their mistake and just kept repeating they had delivered it to the original neighbour - which was untrue.
I reached out to Ultra max due to issues with a charging issue with other peoples products, rather than just try and sell me a new battery, Patrick talked through solutions until resolved. A rare example of real integrity. Will be my preferred choice in future.
So here goes the story. Bought a 10ah LifePO4 from B&Q and was told it will be shipped directly from Ultramax. TL;DR: NEVER GOT THE BATTERY. Ordered it 3rd April, with arrival estimate of 7-8 April. Phoned them up on 7th, was told the had a backlog and it should be shipped on the day, phoned again on 8th, was told they had a backlog and definitely will be shipped on 8th and will be with me on 9th. Come 9th April, battery never arrives, phone them up and was told “WE HAD A BACKLOG AND WE WILL AIM TO SHIP THE ITEM TODAY”. So at this point I just cancelled the order. Looked up ECO-Worthy and 20Ah was cheaper than the 10Ah from Ultramax with their welcome deal, ordered it from eco-worthy on 10th April and battery arrived 14th April. So DO NOT RECOMMEND ULTRAMAX, GO WITH OTHER OPTIONS.
Upgraded my off road mobility scooter from Gel Batteries to 2 x ultramax 100 ah 12v LifePo 4 . Installation was simple , and Bluetooth app set up straightforward. The scooter performs better , tripled the range and greater speed, plus it is now considerably lighter knocking off nearly 40 kilograms. The batteries are monitored through the app to show percentage used and if any warnings occurred. No more anxiety issues with low battery warnings whilst out on long trips . Brilliant Batteries and monitoring. The team at ultramax were constantly in touch regarding installation and queries that I had, they also put together a custom charger to accommodate my three pin xlr port on my scooter. I wanted to leave a 5-star review specifically for Patrick Willis. I purchased two 24V 100Ah LiFePO4 batteries and had a small issue finding the correct app for the Bluetooth connection. Patrick resolved this for me incredibly quickly and efficiently. I am currently using the first battery, and I am very pleased with its performance and the ability to monitor it via the app. It is rare to find such responsive customer support these days. Highly recommended!
